Sale Policies, Terms, and Warranties - Please read:


RETURN/REFUND POLICIES:

We will gladly accept your return as long as the following procedures are noted and followed:

  1. All returns and exchanges must have PRIOR APPROVAL and be accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization #.

  2. Merchandise must be RECEIVED at our warehouse within 15 days from the original date of receipt by the customer.

  3. Merchandise must be received back in factory sealed and unused condition only.

  4. Product returns are subject to a 20% (of purchase price) restocking fee, with a minimum fee of $5.00.

  5. If a return is received at our warehouse after 15 days from the delivery date of the merchandise to the customer, it will be returned to the customer at their expense.

  6. All shipping costs must be paid by the customer for returned merchandise.

  7. A store credit or refund will be issued for the purchase price of the product(s), less any applicable restocking fees AND less any shipping and handling fees charged.

  8. All shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

  9. Without exception, no item may be returned without prior authorization in the form of an RMA number provided by customer service.

  10. Defective Items: The customer must request a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) via e-mail, accompanied by a detailed description of the problem being experienced with the merchandise. A customer must return the merchandise at their expense WITHIN 5 DAYS from the date of receipt, with the RMA#. If an exchange is not requested at the issuing time of the RMA, an automatic store credit will be applied once merchandise is returned back to the warehouse.

  11. Reimbursement Method: All reimbursements are done in the form of a company credit which can be used towards new orders. Customers may request a refund back. Refunds may take 3 to 5 business days to be processed.

ADDITIONAL PRODUCT-SPECIFIC POLICIES:

  1. As-Is Products:
    Absolutely no returns or exchanges will be offered for As-Is merchandise. Any As-Is merchandise which is returned to the seller will be considered abandoned by the customer and may, at the discretion of the seller be re-sold if not re-claimed by the buyer within 15 days. It will be the customer's responsibility to provide additional payment for subsequent delivery back to the customer.
     

  2. Mobile Phones & Mobile Phone Accessories:

    1. GSM vs CDMA and Frequency concerns: We try to provide the best quality of support for our members, and with the large variety of cellular phones we offer, there are some factors you should be aware of. A large part of our cellular inventory consists of GSM phones. Some GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) providers include Cingular, T-Mobile, AT&T, etc.  A GSM network differs from a CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) network in several ways, the easiest to distinguish by being that a GSM phone requires a SIM card (which is not included). SIM cards can be obtained from your provider. When purchasing a GSM phone you should take into consideration which bandwidth frequency is available in your area. Please contact your service provider for assistance. The frequency coverage depends on the area and your service provider. GSM cellular phones only run on 4 possible frequencies, 850/900/1800/1900. Quad Band phones can run on all 4 frequencies, Tri Band phones will only work on 3 out of the 4 frequencies, and Dual Band phones will only work on 2 out of the 4 frequencies. 850/1900 are US frequencies, and 900/1800 are international frequencies. The majority of our Tri Band phones are 900/1800/1900 which means they work internationally as well as on a US 1900 frequency (850 frequency will not work).

    3. Phones returned due to frequency issues are subject to approval and a 20% restocking fee. All phones intended for use with carriers other than GSM networks are marked accordingly. As the majority of phones we offer are international models, and are not assigned to one specific carrier, unless marked otherwise, the GSM phones can be used on any GSM network: Cingular, T-Mobile, AT&T, etc.   However for best service from your cellular phone, the above frequency regulations must be observed.

    4. Cell phones which are marked as unlocked (being international phones) are not capable of working on the internet. They are not enabled to browse the internet and will not be able to access it. We also provide you with certain CDMA and IDEN phone models which work with the provider specified on the item description.

    5. >>>CDMA users (Verizon, Alltel, Sprint, etc): All phones intended for use with CDMA and IDEN networks are specifically marked.<<<

    6. All cellular phones are sold AS-IS and do NOT include manufacturer warranties. Please refer to the return policy for further information.

    7. DOA cell phones: For the return of any Dead on Arrival cell phone, we must be notified within 5 business days of the receipt of the merchandise. This type of return may come back only for exchange without exception. In the case of a return without prior authorization: the item in question will either be shipped back to the customer at their expense, or at the customer's request we may elect to accept the item back with a restocking fee of 40% of the total merchandise value.

    8. The cell phones represented on this web site are predominantly international models and will hold no manufacturer warranty. Select models may be taken to a nearby manufacturer service center to be serviced at the recipient's expense.

WARRANTY POLICIES:

  1. Manufacturer Warranty: We guarantee against manufacturers' defects for 15 days from the date of the delivery on all products except for items listed in the Exception Section below. Products with Manufacturer Warranties which exceed 15 days, may be returned directly to the manufacturer according to their instructions. All returns/exchanges due to warranty issues, must be approved and RECEIVED within 15 days of receipt of the merchandise. Merchandise must be in original factory condition, and must include all original packaging materials, warranty cards, manuals and accessories.

  2. Exceptions to Manufacturer Warranties: OLEVIA BRAND TVs - are covered by Manufacturer's warranty. New Olevia TVs come with one year Manufacturer's warranty, serviced at Customer's location. Reconditioned Olevia TVs come with 90 days Manufacturer's warranty, serviced direct with the manufacturer. YOU MUST REGISTER with Olevia within one month of the purchase to be eligible for warranty coverage. GAMING ITEMS (includes Brand New consoles and games for all different types of systems) - come with Manufacturer's warranty unless specified otherwise in the description section of the item. If the item is defective customer will need to contact Manufacturer. If the item is unwanted and was not open, this item may be returned to us per our "Unwanted Returns" section. Items may be returned only with prior authorization.

  3. As-Is Products Warranty: Any product described as "As-Is" is explicitly EXCLUDED from any warranty coverage whatsoever. Further, absolutely no returns or exchanges will be offered for As-Is merchandise. Any As-Is merchandise which is returned to the seller will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.

  4. Cellular Phone Warranty: Except as stated in product descriptions, ALL MOBILE PHONES SOLD ON THIS SITE ARE SOLD AS-IS WITH NO WARRANTY. Select models may be taken to a nearby manufacturer service center to be serviced at the recipient's expense.

CONDITION DEFINITIONS:

The condition of each item is indicated in the "Description" section of this listing. For further explanation, please refer to the following:

  1. If the item is described as "New", this means the item is brand new and have not been used or reconditioned.

  2. If the item is described as "Refurbished" or "Reconditioned", this means the item has been through the factory process of product restoration by cleaning, repairing, recovering, and/or reusing the item for its original intended use. Products that are reconditioned by the manufacturer have been tested to meet quality specifications, some items come with 90 days manufacturer's warranty. The warranty is serviced direct by the manufacturer.

  1. Shipping Fees:

    • We ship items every Monday and Wednesday. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable. Unfortunately, we do not ship to APO/FPO addreses.

    • International Buyers: Customs fees and duty taxes may be charged in your country. Please contact your local customs office to find out how they operate. Please feel free to contact me if there is a special procedure you'd like us to follow. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.

  2. Shipping Methods:
    We normally ship via U.S. Postal Service or UPS for domestic packages with delivery confirmation. International packages are shipped via U.S. Postal Service Global Express with tracking information. You will receive notification via email when your package has been shipped. If you'd like to make different shipping arrangements, please contact us directly. Please note that shipping methods may change at our discretion. Unfortunately, we do not ship to APO/FPO addreses.

  3. Combined Shipping:
    We are happy to combine shipping for our customers. Please make sure to combine your orders through our checkout system.

  4. Insurance:
    We strongly recommend you add shipping insurance to your purchase. We are not responsible for your package once it has been accepted by the post office or other delivery service.

  5. Payment Methods:

  6. Payment must be received within 10 days from date of purchase. Order will be cancelled if payment is not received within this timeframe.

  7. eBay Buyers:
    Buyer will receive an email with checkout instructions shortly after a purchase is made via eBay. Please respond or make contact within 3 days. If no contact is made within 3 days of your purchase, we will start non-paying bidder procedures. Spam filters or other email problems sometimes cause communication problems between us and our customers. If you do not receive an email confirmation, you are responsible for contacting us to request one.

  8. Customer Satisfaction:
    Please contact us immediately if you don't believe we deserve positive feedback. We always do our best to ensure our customers' ultimate satisfaction.

  9. Taxes:
    There is no sales tax unless you are a resident of the state of Ohio. In this case, the 7.5% tax rate will be applied to your purchase.

TERMS OF USE:

NVSS, Inc. (NVSS) reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, add or remove portions of this Terms of Use (TOU), at any time. It is your responsibility to check this TOU each time before using the Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes. You agree that all subsequent purchases by you will be subject to the terms and conditions of this TOU, which shall apply until we post a modified TOU and then in accordance with such modified TOU. As long as you comply with this TOU and any such modifications, NVSS grants you ("End User") a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, limited privilege to enter and use the Site.
